My name is Dale and I was born on July 4, 1971. For most of my life I was a trouble maker. I've abused my body and others, spent countless days and nights in rehabs, lived on the street, was in juvenile homes, was in countless jails and prisons in three different states, and paid a very long visit in 1998 and spent the next five years in prison. While in prison, there were many people from Old Time Baptist Church that would come in and preach to us. There was a huge transformation in my life and many miracles happened while in prison. I even thought I was saved. I was released in November of 2002 and was determined to never go back to prison, jails, rehab, or any other institution again. In December of 2002 I met Amy. Amy and I come from two different worlds and I was surprised that she would even give me a chance. Somehow, she was able to see more in me than I could see in myself. In 2004 we were married and she is the love of my life.
Both Amy and I thought we were saved when we met each other. We faithfully went to church, went to Christian conferences, and were active members in a church. But something was missing. Something was never settled in my heart about having complete assurance in my salvation. It has only been the last couple of years that I can say that the King James Bible is God's final authority. I truly believe the Word of God is basic instructions before leaving Earth (BIBLE).
I have been under the preaching of Dr. John Asquith from the Black Creek Baptist Church (Black Creek, NY) for the last 5 years. It has been through his dedicated service to the Lord and the great men of God that have come to our church that I finally realized I was lost. Because of this quick salvation, repeat after me prayers that people had me say, I could have died and gone to hell. Salvation is quick, but it is when God saves you; not men.
After listening to a weeklong of powerful services from Willis Shankles, I had enough. I requested that both my pastor Asquith and Brother Shankles come to my house. As they were crying out to God, I was in the corner and God broke my pride, I repented, and the Lord saved me – in an instant; never to question my salvation again.
I HAVE a salvation that I KNOW that I am saved which is spoken in the bible (1 Jn. 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.)
This site is not to boast of myself, but to show the many manifold graces of God and what he has done in my life (1 Cor 1:27-31). I am not a preacher or minister, but God is using a simple layman like me to spread his Word. My name is Dale and I was born on July 4, 1971. For most of my life I was a trouble maker. This slide show is just a brief history of my life.
New Beginnings TV Interview
Thank you Lord, for forgiving me my sin…
Thank you Lord, for becoming my dearest friend…
Thank you Lord, for the price that you paid...
Thank you Lord, for seeing my life saved...
Your own feelings did not get in the way,
when you looked in the future, and
you looked down my way.
For shedding your own blood, so that
I might get saved, thank you Lord
for thinking of me on that day.
Thank you Lord, for the blood that ran down your face...
Thank you Lord, for on that cross, you took my place…
Thank you Lord, for enduring the flames of hell for me...
Thank you Lord, for dying that I may be free...
Thank you Lord, for rising out of your grave...
Thank you Lord, for bringing us together for all eternity...
Thank you Lord, for by your wounds I am healed...
Thank you Lord, for eternity my heart and soul you did heal.
I can never thank you enough Jesus;
so I offer my life…
Thank you Lord.
